It’s Time to Talk About It


National Eating Disorders Awareness Week takes place February 26th-March 4th and we at the Yoga and Body Image Coalition are proud to be a NEDAwareness Partner. YBIC will be engaging in several efforts throughout the week to help raise awareness about the serious nature of eating disorders and to help direct those affected to the help they need and deserve.

This year’s #NEDAwareness theme is “It’s Time to Talk About It!” and we could not agree more! In support of this effort, YBIC will feature a daily blog, an extension of our monthly column, that features the use of yoga as an integral component in the effective treatment of and on-going recovery from eating disorders. These posts will share the stories of people in the YBIC community who have used the practice of yoga to help in their journey of healing and recovery from an eating disorder.
